If you're in an upstairs apartment, DON'T PUT YOUR SPEAKERS ON THE FLOOR!!!!! Ever since he moved in, I've been complaining about the volume of the new neighbor's tv/stereo. He's been good about turning it down, but it's still a problem for me even as he's complaining that he can barely hear it himself. You guessed it! Come to find out, he's got the speakers on right on the floor and it never once occurred to him that this might be the whole problem!?! Makes me think he must never have lived in an apartment before... Let's see... Get the speakers up off the floor and all the sound from them that's been coming through his floor/my ceiling can stay up there where it belongs. Ya think?
