I'm Procrastinating Again...

This is what I get for checking through the aggregator before doing the dishes or collecting the papers I'll need tomorrow! After seeing these questions on several different blogs, I naturally decided to jump right in myself, even though there are more urgent things awaiting my attention.

[Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says]
"³ gang vi . . . Scot" (from the "Explanatory Notes" at the front of my dictionary—Webster's Ninth New Collegiate)

[Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?]
      Scanner (HP ScanJet 4200C)

[What is the last thing you watched on TV?]
      Right now am watching
Angels @ Mariners, cheering for the home team and keeping an eagle eye out to see if my son gets on camera!

[With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?]
Just the sound of baseball on tv. (We're between airplanes—and nobody's home upstairs right now!)

[When did you last step outside?]
A few hours ago drove my son down to the
Kent Transit Center to catch a bus to work. (His second day as a vendor at Safeco Field.)

[Before you came to this website, what did you look at?]
Was skimming through blog entries in my
aggregator.

[What are you wearing?]
A blue floral print dress that's worn out enough that I only wear it kicking around the house anymore.

[Did you dream last night?]
I'm sure I did but I couldn't tell you what!

[When did you last laugh?]
      Watching
Edgar's Clapper ad. (If you're a baseball fan living outside of the Mariners' broadcast area, you might want to check out the other promos too. Some of the funniest videos you'll ever watch.)

[What is on the walls of the room you are in?]
Mostly just have tall bookshelves against the walls anyplace there's no baseboard heater. But I do have a current calendar by my desk and a couple of outdated baseball posters over by the door.

[Seen anything weird lately?]
I'm sure I have but I'm too brain dead right now to remember what.

[What do you think of this quiz?]
Great way to waste time while I should be going over paperwork for my disability hearing tomorrow!

[What is the last movie you saw?]
The last new-to-me movie I watched all the way through was
Rugrats Go Wild. (Hey, don't laugh too loud!) I admit it—I really wanted to see Angelica Pickles' encounter with Debbie Thornberry!

[If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?]
Mariners season tickets (and a condo right by the ballpark so I could skip traffic after games.)

[Tell me something about you that I don't know.]
Once upon a time I was
George Takei's personal guide when he was a guest at a Seattle Star Trek convention. (He's one of the most fun and intelligent people I've ever met.)

[If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?]
      C-L-E-A-N AIR.

[Do you like to dance?]
I love to dance! Unfortunately, I'm very untalented as a dancer. Fortunately, I'm old enough that I don't care about that anymore so I just have fun.

[George Bush:]
      RUN AWAY very, very quickly!

[Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?]
If my son had been a girl, she would have been called Maureen. (My second choice but Dad's first choice. My personal preference was for Madeleine, after the
Cathedral of the Madeleine in Salt Lake City, which I lived next door to at the time .)

[Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?]
My first (and only) child was a boy. He was—and still is!—called Stuart.

[Would you ever consider living abroad?]
Absolutely yes!!! Would love to spend a couple years in England and/or Australia. And Japan. I'll probably just be able to spend a few months in British Columbia (yes, Canada) sometime in the next few years.
