Cannon and Immigration

Reps Howard Berman, Lucille Roybal-Allard, and Chris Cannon hold a news conference today at noon to announce the National Week of Action for the DREAM Act and the reintroduction of the Student Adjustment Act, which would enable US - raised immigrant students to attend college and allow many of these students the chance to earn immigration relief.

Feds OK Utah's Hazardous Waste Rules
The Environmental Protection Agency has approved Utah's changes to its hazardous waste program under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). This non-controversial rule means that facilities subject to RCRA now have to comply with State Requirements instead of equivalent Federal Requirements.
