Absolutely Fabulous My sweetheart (yes, I mean my wife) and I spent a wonderful day picnicking at the beach. We had a nice lunch made even better by a great bottle of wine courtesy of Robert Mondavi. We spread our blanket near a roped off area where a colony of Piping Plovers had established their nests.  We watched butterflies heading over the dunes to bushes where Redwing Blackbirds were singing and enjoyed the Laughing Gulls circling overhead. Later we headed further south to a little bar right on the beach were we sat outside overlooking the ocean enjoying Long Island Iced Teas while the sun set and the full moon rose. We made our way back home arriving at 3am, tired but happy. Today the air was so clear and clean and the mountains looked so beautiful in the distance.
