Life after the b0rg

A Blog written by the an ex Microsoft employee. Reading this made me feel very sorry for her. I guess no company can escape this kind of thing no matter how big (not even the biggest) or small.  I just wish more was done to avoid it.

Mesh has a new Blog

Mike Chambers the Flash community manager has a new Blog and it looks like his move to Moveable Type is complete. I have noticed that Mike Williams's Blog is also running off this server...what was I saying about using the same server/software for Blogging  ;-) I hope more MM bloggers join in :)

BTW Mike has a post about using Moveable Type to generate ColdFusion templates. Reading it this would work for any langauge that your server supports, PHP, ASP.NET etc...go, go Moveable Type :)

New Flash Blogger - via John Dowdell

Mike Williams who is a product manager for Macromedia Flash has started a Blog. JD has stated that Mike is working on the next version of the Flash authoring tool and kicks off his blog with a question as to what is used more in Flash development, the timeline or scripting.

Reading between the lines it sounds like they may change Flash so that for certain applications and uses's you can develop soley in scripting and avoid the timeline. This does make sense when developing say GUI apps rather than animations.

OT from this feature discussion but a CLR version of the Flash Player and SSAS as a fully fledged language (with a .NET compiler version) please :)
