Life after the B0rg (2)

I had an email off Mary Beth, the lady at center of this Blog. She is a very nice lady and the raw deal she has had stuns me beyond words. So anyone who is reading this and needs a tech writer (and a dam good one at that) give her a call.

Flash and Blogs - via John Dowdell

Interesting thread on FlashCoders on Blogs. John makes some interesting comments on this thread as the Flash community looks at Blogs, there use and how they can be used further in the community (such Blogging in Flash).

You can explore one of two options here, software that will create a Blog in Flash completely or software that will plugin into existing Blog software (Radio, Moveable type etc) to export a Blog as Flash.

Could such a product exist. Macromedia knows how powerful Blogs are and how much there use in business is growing. Using Flash as the medium of delivery allows a business to use its Blogs across devices and make use of rich media such as sound and video in the Blogs. Such a tool could allow a business to make use of a Blog as a business tool in a much richer way than Radio or Moveable type (but possibly extend on a business's ROI on these tools). My hope is that Macromedia is exploring these ideas and building on its sucess's as one (if not THE one) of the most Blog aware companies in the industry.
