AmberPoint raises $13.6m second round. - Loosely Coupled [Loosely Coupled news aggregator]

Congrats to the guys at AmberPoint. Not the easiest time to raise money, and there is a good bit of competition in this space, but I wish them well.

Having worked with Forte for several years, I know a number of the guys at AmberPoint and had a chance to look at early concepts and betas. One of the things I like most about what they are doing is their support for problem detection and resolution. You don't see much discussion of effective patching techniques (at least I haven't), but it is an important factor in successful deployment.
