Searching for a good LOTR Mithril link, I was taken back to David McCusker's home page via his Mithril language and noticed that David has started working for the OSA Foundation. That project (see earlier post) has some deep talent behind it.

FWIW, I also ran across another language named Mithril.

Watchmaker gives Palm another shake. Fashion watch maker Fossil is having a second go at melding a wristwatch with a handheld computer--but this time it'll run on the Palm operating system. [CNET News.com]

I'm not sure how many devices I need to have my phone numbers and schedules on them: laptop, phone, PDA, and, now, watch. Then again, I'm not sure I don't need them all to.

I must say that I'm impressed with the size of this device. Certainly a lower-key wearable computer than this:

I kid. MIT has cool wearable computing work going on. I particularly like their MIThril platform--if only for the LOTR-inspired name.
