Thought I'd mention this since I commented on the osOpinion article on secure OSes a few days ago. I can't tell how RSBAC compares with the MAC I'm familiar with from Virtualvault, but I'm going to look into it.

The Chandler 0.1 release is out. This is a developer only release, but still, it's nice to see the OSAF folks making some progress. Now to dig into the guts....

[Ted Leung on the air]

Just did the minimal download and run thing of the end users' distribution for MacOS X on my TiBook. It started up and ran fine. It is certainly rough, but worth taking a look at. I was surprised that mail functionality isn't in there. It is calendar, contacts, and some other sample parcels. Sharing of calendar, contacts, and RSS feeds (via the ZaoBao sample parcel) via Jabber is reportedly there, but I haven't had a chance to try it.

Like Ted, I'd like to poke around in the guts a bit, too, if I can find the time. I'd particularly like to see what can be done with PyObjC to integrate Chandler into the native MacOS environment.
