Zope X3 Milestone 3 Congrats to the hard-working folks building Zope 3! Jim announced on Monday that milestone three of the "experimental" series was released. This means that a beta is pretty darn close. While the announcement covers many of the new features, there are a couple that are most interesting to me. First and foremost: WebDAV. Sidnei da Silva worked very hard on creating interesting (though preliminary) support for WebDAV. It's likely that Zope 3 will be a far better DAV platform than Zope 2. (In fact, Zope 3 already mounts under OS X. It breaks when you try to edit something.) Other highlights from my perspective: filesystem sync (aka CVS-style dev for Zope), path expressions in TALES (alas, not XPath), and decorators. Oh, and Jim provided a binary for Windows. Zope/Plone In "PROGRAMMEZ !"
