Bridging the XML divide between US, Europe Pointed out by Patrick Phalen, a quick article talking about the difference in XML philosophy between the US (data-centric) and Europe (document-centric). Sean McGrath gives a quick mention of Zope: "U.S. companies specializing in open source software tend to find greater success abroad, McGrath said. Plone on Slashdot Slashdot had eWeek's review of Plone 2.0 on the Slashdot homepage over the weekend. Looks like the Slashdot effect still lives. The day before, Plone got 384,787 hits.
