Missing Sync for Pocket PC supports iCal, Address Book. Mark/Space Inc. is preparing Missing Sync for Pocket PC, which will enable users of Pocket PC-based handheld devices to synchronize and exchange content with iCal, Address Book iTunes and iPhoto. The software is planned for an "Early Adopter" release to coincide with July's Macworld CreativePro Conference & Expo. Missing Sync for PocketPC will synchronize with calendar items, to do items and contacts via iSync conduits. From within iTunes, the Pocket PC-based handheld and its memory cards will show up as an MP3 player, allowing users to add and remove audio files. Missing Sync will allow iPhoto users to export and resize photos for optimal viewing on a Pocket PC-based handheld. [MacCentral] [Jon Israelson's Blog]

Very cool find. This looks like something I'll want to play with more.

Mozilla on the move. Joel Spolsky's endorsement of Mozilla Firebird -- he says "it has finally caught up with Internet Explorer" -- has attracted lots of notice. It is, indeed, a sweet piece of work. I love how the extensions work. The first one I picked up was LiveHTTPHeaders which seems to instantly obselete Proxomitron for purposes of HTTP protocol sniffing and website reverse-engineering. I was also delighted to see that there's a build which includes the DOM Inspector -- and, no sooner was that available, an extension that added DOM Inspector to my existing Firebird installation. And XSLT works. Very cool! ... [Jon's Radio]

My friend Aaron has been telling me I need to check out Phoenix. Well, I waited too long and now it's called Firebird. At any rate, it's definitely very cool. I'm using it right now. The speed is very nice compared to Mozilla 1.3 and it looks as though it's going to improve upon the already killer Mozilla features. The extensions are very nice (similar to Mozilla). I can't wait for this thing to go 1.0 and get some serious cross-platform support.
