FRAMING SYRIA CounterPunch: "Another slam dunk forgery is being used to convict Syria. The United Nations' Detlev Mehlis inquiry into the murder of Lebanon's former Prime Minister Rafiq Hairri depends on a central witness, Zuhir Ibn Mohamed Said Saddik, who has faced accusations of being a swindler and embezzler. Der Spiegel exposed Saddik's brags of 'becoming a millionaire' from his testimony to the Mehlis Commission." The only party to gain a lot from the recent murders of Lebanese politicians is the US (and allies in the region). It stands to reason the US is responsible for the murders, not Syria. The ultimate aim is government change in Lebanon and Syria. And the UN seems to fall into the CIA trap again. 11:12:27 AM
