Independent: "The United States authorities are facing demands by doctors from around the world to abandon the barbaric method of force-feeding hunger strikers at Guantanamo Bay."
The Lancet: "We urge the US government to ensure that detainees are assessed by independent physicians and that techniques such as forcefeeding and restraint chairs are abandoned forthwith in accordance with internationally agreed standards."
Der Spiegel: "The country has already collapsed. With sectarian violence on the rise and a stable government nowhere in sight, things are not going well for Iraq at the moment."
"March 18 & 19, 2006 will mark the third anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. We urge the entire movement to demand an end to colonial occupations, not only in Iraq, but in Afghanistan, Palestine, and Haiti, and in every part of the world where people are resisting occupation, intervention, colonialism and neo colonialism."
The protest will be international.
We will not be silenced.
