Jim's Pond - Exploring the Universe of Ideas
"Beware when the great God lets loose a thinker on this planet. Then all things are at risk. It is as when a conflagration has broken out in a great city, and no man knows what is safe, or where it will end." --Ralph Waldo Emerson

Wednesday - Telling the Stories

The Special Meaning of #

Yeah, right. What is the special meaning of #. If you have read through the help files for Radio 8.0.8 you would know. Or not. I've just spent a few hours over the past two days reading through all of the Radio help files. Ouch, my head hurts.

These help files are filled with sizzling information like:

Create a file called #homeTemplate.txt in an HTML or text editor. Paste the contents from step 2. Edit to your heart's delight.

and

You can also setup Radio to upstream a category to another FTP server by creating a new #upstream.xml file in the folder where your category is stored.

or

You can find where the Navigator links get inserted into your pages by viewing the templates from the Templates section of Prefs and looking for the "%navigatorLinks%" macro within the chosen template.

I'm about to embarrass myself through a galactic display of ignorance, or stupidity or something like it. But I'm struggling with this web log tool thing. I need to either accept the current setup of my Radio web page, hire a personal web master or find a Radio Boot Camp. Is this supposed to be fun?

That's all for now.........
