Hincapie
What a great day at the Tour de France. Armstrong showed why he is the best cyclist of his generation. George Hincapie won the stage. That's the first Tour de France stage win of Hincapie's career. All the more amazing for the facts that 1) Armstrong hasn't won a stage at this year's tour and 2) it's absolutely the toughest stage of the 2005 race.
It was also nice to see Hincapie's reaction to the win. He was obviously pleased and just as obviously surprised. He didn't set out to win the stage, it just happened that way. Armstrong was interviewed and seemed genuinely happy for his friend. They have been riding bicycles together since Lance was seventeen............
