When upgrading to JDeveloper 9.0.3.3, you will need to upgrade your application server to use the BC4J 9.0.3.3 runtime libraries as well to keep in synch. If you fail to do this, for example, you might find that EJB-based application modules don't work as you expect. The BC4J Runtime Installer extension that you can download from OTN and install into your JDeveloper 9.0.3.3 IDE will automate the process for you.

After sending an email to the folks in charge over at our OTN team asking why the OTN discussion forums have been so flaky lately, he responded to me telling me that the problem is being investigated by our Global IT team with the highest priority. Let's hope they figure out what the issue is soon.
