It's been my wife's dream to start a little company to offer cooking classes to professionals and amateur chefs. It has been fun to watch her get it started over the last year and breathe life into it, along with her business partners who do the teaching while she handles all the logistics. While they're not yet cookin' with Java, a geek husband could definitely lend a hand for helping them set up their fledgling web presence at http://www.cucinando.org

The first site version is only in Italian, but after the holidays I'll get the English version up and running. They hope to eventually tap into interest in English-speaking tourists visiting northern Italy interested in have an authentic cooking class, perhaps by hooking up with tours from Backroads (where my sister works), or other similar tour companies operating in northern Italy.
