Peter Coffee reviews JDeveloper 10g in the July 6th eWeek and he concludes:

JDeveloper 10g, Oracle Corp.'s latest developer tool set, is a complete and responsive Java-based environment that eWEEK Labs ranks second to none. Its flexible licensing model is the finishing touch that earns it an enthusiastic Analyst's Choice appellation.

Excellent news. Tell your friends...

Duncan Mills is off and running with his GroundSide blog. Duncan is our resident expert of all things Struts and JSP related and his Multi-Row Edit how-to paper pulled in top download honors on OTN last month in the JDeveloper area. Congrats, and subscribed!

A friend Mustafa forwarded me this New York Times op-ed piece by Giuliano Hazan (free registration required) on why a low-carb lifestyle would never fly in Italy, and why it's never really crossed the minds of people here to adopt one...

Sadly, according to fans of the low-carb mania that is sweeping the United States, the Italian gastronomic landscape is the equivalent of a minefield. Our diet of pasta, rice and an abundance of fruits and vegetables is loaded with evil carbs.

So why is it that Italians are shrugging off America's latest dietary obsession? [...]  After all, those trim and fit Italian men with flat bellies and women with hourglass figures are all sitting in restaurants eating pasta, polenta and crusty bread.

I hear a lot of my wife's voice in this article which is probably why Mustafa sent it to me in the first place!
