Moved this week. Still no internet access at home, so the technical hobby of the week is: compact florescent light bulbs. Here is my methodology: 1) Purchase one of each at the store to try out in the fixtures at home 2) Try outs are successful if a) the fixture accepts the bulb, b) the bulb does not hang down below the shade, c) not too blue or delayed-start 3) Return any losers and buy the winners in correct quantities.

One might ask why spend the better part of an afternoon on light bulbs, but hey I'm saving the planet. Cheapest CFs are at Ikea.
