(george) Hilary and I have entered the Bay to Breakers run in San Francisco in May...my mileage is way down, but I'll manage to limp along, surely! I guess the race has a history built around the earthquake in 1906; as a way to lift the people's spirits, the city came up with this run through town. I hear Bonny Raitt is playing at the finish line-I like to picture her struttin' with her electric guitar, doin' a bit of slide playin' as we cross the line...hmmm, 'as we cross the line'...hokay everyone- break out yer pens, it's songwritin' time!!!
