(shannon) I feel I've got a tailwind today, pushing me along to new vistas. I don't know why, but sometimes you just wake up with energy to propel you forward through obstacles, be they intellectual, physical, emotional, or whatever. Today is one of those days, and the forward motion is in the area of the internet as a tool for promotion of our CD. It's a much trickier business than I ever thought it would be, and I often feel like these mundane matters are taking me away from being a songwriter, as truly they are. But today I started to get a glimmer of understanding about the inner connections of the web, and how it could work for us, and it has been enlightening. I guess the real game is in changing my mind about who I am, what shoes I'm wearing, because today I am indeed a record promoter- minus a big fat pocketful of payola of course!! Dang!
