(shannon) What if??? What if someone started a chain of radio stations that played only songs that were NOT paid for by payola, or whatever the currency is these days. Then they would have an exclusive array of songs and listener base, offering music that couldn't be heard anywhere else. Seems like a whole market could be created using that strategy, and the listeners would have an opportunity for exposure to a broader range of recording artists, as well as perhaps a different style of DJ commentary. How refreshing!! The antithesis of Clear Channel...aahhhh.
