(shannon) I just went to the space flight site George mentioned in his latest entry. I'm so excited to hear that private enterprise is supporting competitive research and discovery in the aerospace field!! That's the way to make it happen, they are right. Our airline industry is going down because it currently suffers the fate of being only partially deregulated. They still have the eighty pound gorilla of government strapped to their backs, and are not truly free to make their own rules, their own profits, their own forward progress. But this private space flight idea IS exciting. Haven't we all been wondering for a few decades where our George Jetson air cars are anyway, knowing it's not for lack of the dreaming and technology? Space cowboys rule!
