Well that was quite a weekend. About 25 members of ClubMac (and the NIMUG) visited the Apple plant in Cork on Saturday. We had a party of 18 on the train from Dublin and we were joined by seven others in Cork.

We were welcomed to the plant by Liam Donohoe, Country Manager, who took us on a tour of the facility including call centres for customer service, technical support and the Apple Store. This was followed by a visit to the manufacturing floor where they were busy putting together PowerMac G4s and G5s. After lunch, we met Eanna O'Bradaigh, the newly appointed Business Development Manager and former engineer who answered tech questions. Those who posed questions he couldn't answer got a T-shirt.
