Closet transformed into a desk No space, over population, and too much SH*T is what drives people in Tokyo to be very good at creating "comfortable" spaces with what u got.
When I moved into my current "Mansion", pronounced Man-Shon and means an apartment in Japanese not a Kahala $5 million waterfront little 10 bedroom home, I looked around for interior decorating ideas. The bookstore near the office has various magazines on the topic, all of them focusing on decorating a small little rabbit hole. I picked up three and flipped through them. The magazines are full of really good ideas and I realized this is a pretty big issue in Tokyo, especially since there are magazines dedicated to this category. What really got my attention was when I visited the local convenience store AM/PM. Browsing through the shop I found they had another 3 or 4 different magazines on interior designing for small spaces. In total, I picked up around six or seven different brands of mags on this topic. One neat idea snatched was for my computer area .. no space for a desk; therefore, transform my closet into a desk.
