...that's what the first day of this new job felt like..I'm now a manger, with an big office(bonus!!), and I get a laptop(bonus)..and I'm supervising 3 people (one who is very friendly, one who is uncooperative/unfriendly and one who knows that I'm replacing her and is being cooperative but I have a sense of hostility in the background). I was apparently a little undressed today for this position..well now I know.. tommorrow.. little more dressed up I think plus its freezing in that office..so warmer clothes..I don't know if I like being stuck in an office by myself..I'm a people person..or at least would like to be around people the first day. I wasn't prepared to be a manager of three people I for one don't know, two I don't know exactly what they do and three, I don't exactly understand what the business does..I mean I know that make these security turnstile thingys..but details, little lost..I've worked in telecommunications for the last 15 years..not security.. I can raddle off phone systems, cabling in my sleep but security thingys? I also know that I need to have a one on one meeting with at least 2 of them but I don't know their schedules or..god I'm lost and confused and tired.. tomorrow will be better?
