"Can't upstream error message 10061" and "radio system storage down?" which is basically the same problem, radio users keep getting the following error messages: 10061, 10054, 10060...
Marcus pointed out a reference point, Windows TCP Error Codes, for these error messages which is a great because I could never find any exact meanings to these message except what my events log was generating, for example:
10054 - WSAECONNRESET -- Connection reset by peer. This occurs when an established connection is shut down for some reason by the remote computer.
10060 - WSAETIMEDOUT -- Connection timed out.
10061 - WSAECONNREFUSED -- Connection refused. You will usually see this error when a server refuses a connection from a client, because the server is not listening on that port.
Now the question I have and I'm sure others have is why?
Roland pointed out that Lawrence answered by saying "Sorry, the server had problems, but now it's up."
Roland also said instead of saying, "We had a problem", please say it's because:
1. You're understaffed
2. Your servers stink
3. Your sysadmin sleeps from time to time
Whatever the reason, PLEASE GIVE US SOME REAL EXPLANATIONS
