ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH
I'm overwhelmed and need time for myself, seriously I am just beyond overwhelmed, my company is growing and growing but I don't have time for me anymore. I actually made dinner yesterday night between thoughts and it seems that I never ever get time for me anymore..I need help
so I advertised again for a bookkeeper and this time I went through each resume and pulled the best 10 out of the 50 or so I got this time and thought I'd be a little more proactive and sent email questions to those potential people and people have responded but ARRRRRGGGGHHH
questions and the answers in blue
What accounting software programs have you used and/or currently using? For all accounting inquiries I was using mostly Microsoft Spreadsheets (Excel). As of right now I am going through training on Quickbooks Do you have Mac experience? yes I noticed that you were in school - how many hours do you have available to work? i go to school at night for accounting and have hours available PT during the day (did I miss something, this one doesn't have any accounting experience especially is she has only used excel for accounting and what does she mean by accounting inquires anyways, this is a full charge bookkeeping position??)

Do you have Peachtree experience? Do you have Mac experience? Thank you for responding to the ad in craigslist.com, yes I do have 1year in Peachtree and 1half years in Mac. My phone will be on later tonight, my brother I share the phone minutes, he went over limites. Please call me tomorrow morning, I am still interested in the job opening, I would like to meet with you this week if possible (ok I think he answered the question but he responded to my ad and I'm lead to think he's very young and very little experience in accounting among other things)

Do you have Peachtree experience? Do you have Mac experience? I dont have experience with quickbook because my last bookeeping job we had peachtree only, But I am open to learn anything (ok three thoughts here..the ad was specific - you must know Quickbooks, didn't answer the Mac question and jesus people - try spell check before you send an email)
WTF? My ad was specific - you must know QB and Peachtree, PC and Mac and the english major in me - really can't stand people who can't spell don't even get me started on the resumes that came through that definetly weren't spell checked before sending out. What am I doing wrong - do people read ads anymore or do they just apply hoping that no one really cares about asking about their experience - hoping they will just fall through the cracks? If I wanted someone with no experience, I'd hire another student.
