Welcome to my blog! After listening to my husband (Ernie the Attorney) go on and on for almost one year about weblogs and seeing increased attention paid to them in the television and print media, I am finally convinced that communication via this vehicle may be the wave of the future. (Admittedly, I can be a slow learner.) The point is that I made it.
I choose to blog about my passion in life --- the law. I am a litigator at a large defense firm in New Orleans. I have known that I wanted to practice this profession since I was a kid, literally. While many have "jobs," I have a calling. I truly love what I do and I spend most of my time doing it, so it seemed like a perfect fit to blog about it.
My vision for this blog is that it will be a "state-of-the-art resource for products liability law" throughout the United States. Initially, I plan to include links to sites, primarily written by me, that explain the basics of each State's products liability laws; frequent postings about noteworthy news in the products liability arena; and, whenever they occur, postings about recent developments in products liability laws from State legislatures, State supreme courts, and the federal circuit courts of appeal.
However, Rome wasn't built overnight so please be patient.
