Tuesday, April 15, 2003 Amnesty goes on as gun crime falls Gun crime in the west of Scotland fell by 10% last year, new figures reveal today. Fatal shootings dropped by a third and serious assaults with weapons were also down. Police revealed the figures as the national gun amnesty entered its third week.
