From CNET: For most of us, the information age has turned into information overload. Every day brings more data from e-mail, Web sites, and personal documents than any mere mortal could ever hope to process. So how do you sift through all the information to find what you actually want? Windows' Find function does a good job finding specific files, but does nothing for e-mail. Most e-mail clients let you search messages, but lack speed and strong features. To find anything and everything on your machine, regardless of format, try X1 (Formerly Find) a fast and simple solution. The software acts like a mini search engine for your PC, indexing every last byte on your hard drive. Aside from letting you search by keyword, the utility also employs a simple filtering system so you can pick through files by size, type, and date to help you find what you're looking for that much faster.
