Wi-Fi for Handhelds

I'm in the process of evaluating the options available for mobile devices Wi-Fi. At present, the Hewlett-Packard iPAQ h4355 seems to be the most desireable given its keyboard, generous data throughput, and good battery life (3 hours reported with wireless on). The downside is its size (5.4 inches long), and its price ($499 list).

I will be evaluating the Dell Axim X3i, which has similar thoroughput stats, but no Bluetooth.

Most interesting are reports of the first tri-wireless smartphone, the HP iPAQ h6300, which is slated to be revealed by the end of this month. It will support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and quad-band GSM/GPRS class 10, along with an optional VGA digital camera.
