Brian Micklethwait points to an interesting Washington Post article on blogging as a learning tool and also to the interviewee's (Kevin Brancatoblog post on the piece... which makes for interesting information contrasts!

Basically Kevin says blogging has improved his writing, sharpened his data analysis and broadened his scope... granted this is a PhD student, but hey... it's true, it's true!

(as you can see my writings just got better and better over the last year ;o)
