Endore: Are you still in business?
Then, Endore, why don't you answer email? Why, Endore, don't you answer the phone?
If you can't do that, Endore, then how about a recorded phone message letting customers know you're working on one helluva problem. Or, Endore, have you simply gone belly up?
Perhaps a note on your website might help. Is that asking too much?

Hank Barry: micro content,micropayments

Hank Barry participated at the Thursday night gathering at Berkman. He's clear headed, forthright, and digital objects oriented. If you have a micropayment system that meters RSS transactions, you might want to run it by him.

Thanks, Hank.

Hey Endore! I'm an unhappy camper.

I'm well into day two of a downed server. You haven't acknowledged my emails to support@endore.com and all of your phones are busy.

Might a recorded message and/or notice on www.endore.com explaining the system outage be appropriate?

Or, www.endore.com, are you trying to tell me to take my business elsewhere?

Postscript: over the years I've gotten excellent service from these folks, so they get the benefit of the doubt. However, the economy being what it is, alarms bells are clanging

Murphied, so I'm posting this again

Dave reports:

A picture named rhomba.jpgI'm heading back to Boston, taking some Chris Lydon interviews with me on the Rhomba: Paul Krugman, Jay Rosen (I met his nephew Zach Rosen on this trip) and Joe Trippi. There's a stretch on I-89 where there's not much on the radio. It'll be good to get a refresher from these teachers. Had great talks with Jim Moore and John Palfrey this morning on next steps. We're not finished fighting for democracy through technology. [Scripting News]

I'm designing a weblog to further the conversation this book begins. I read the manuscript over the weekend, but I am not yet permitted to post excerpts or quotes. What I will say is this, the author Tom Barnett, has given language that allows me to fully embrace globalization as a vision and strategy toward a furture worth creating. And he does so in a way that makes every current Presidential candidate's agenda a puny (if not dangerous!) pathway. (Note: do not infer that the content or conext are in alignment with the current administration's plan. The book is explicit where it lines up with the Bush plan, and where it does not.)

I believe citizen reporters and voters will be better able to frame this election if they read this book. So here's the offer. If Dave will send me a list of 10 people and their shipping address, I'll get them a first edition copy as soon as it's available.

Why do I blog?

Grumble, grumble... I botched this one, too. Oh, well. I'm done for now.
