Eureka! She's got it!
A treasure found in my Localfeeds:
"A blog is a lifebox. A blog is a church that ensures that the songs you sing can still go on being sung after you die."
~ Lisa Williams
Hmmm.. what's that tingly feeling coming back to my soul. Numb no more!

Too often the Kucinich Campaign numbs my soul
If you're aware of the kinds of networks supporting Dennis Kucinich for President, and the work that they are doing, then you know why the Kucinich candidacy has terriffic potential. But, one thing that's got me shrieking "D'oh!" in the middle of the night, is the lack of a blogger(s) voice that could represent the Kucinich Campaign at BloggerCon. Oh, well. Blogging is only one aspect of communication that could be better understood in his campaign.
Nothing makes me crazier than to see great tools go to waste. Henri and friends, your work needs people that will actually use the stuff. For a candidate whose major theme is fundamental change, I have to wonder if Luddites are running the show. IMHO. Mea culpa. ~cj

Kucinich and Paul: Benjamin Franklin True Patriot Act
From Flyby News - September 25, 2003 - snip follows:
Congressman Dennis Kucinich continued his leadership today on Capitol Hill today by introducing the first comprehensive bill to repeal offensive sections of the misnamed "USA PATRIOT Act." The Kucinich bill -- called the "Benjamin Franklin True Patriot Act" -- is already supported by the ACLU, NAACP, a Jewish group, an Islamic group, and 20 members of Congress.
Also, from the Daily Brief, September 24, 2003 - House lawmakers seek to curb anti-terrorism law
The bill would limit the Justice Department's power to use "sneak and peek" search warrants that let police delay their notification of suspects about the warrants. Justice's power to obtain business and library records under a foreign intelligence law also would be curtailed.
