Sally sent this last week to Susie after the Sox won the ALCS, beating the New York Yankees after being down three games to zero: It is "wicked unbelievable". We are all really excited, but mostly exhausted too - it ended around midnight the last two nights. Yes the kids did stay up - they are walking zombies. We'll have to rest up for the World Series. It is a great thing for Greg, being 11 years old and being the sports fan that he is. Laura is a big Red Sox fan now too. Sheree called me last night after the game to share the excitement. It was like New Years Eve. Baseball is magic, pure magic! When the above picture was taken it was a hot muggy day. But, thanks to Pat, who arranged our tickets to a Yankee - Red Sox game, we had an experience I will never forget! Now if the Patriots can only take the Superbowl, the Chauncys will be partying too!
