Blogstreet India launched Way to go Rajesh and Veer - the brains behind this project ! "There are various useful tools for both, authors and readers of blogs. Some of the salient features include:
Blog authors can have more:
BlogStreet India is part of BlogStreet, one of the first portal in the world dedicated to blogs. BlogStreet was launched in August 2002 and grew to be one of the most popular web-services in the blogosphere." [E M E R G I C . o r g] Just the other day i was talking to a new friend who pinged me on Skype when he read my blog, and he asked me about Indian blogs and what Indian bloggers talk about - i sent him a few links. Now Blogstreet India would make that so simple. I spent some time there yesterday and discovered some really nice Indian blogs. I particularly like the search function - as of today there are 825 blogs in the Blogstreet India directory - and its neat to be able to find posts on topics of interest. I think i will build a separate blogroll for Indian blogs i enjoy - i've seen such location specific blogrolls on some blogs. Here's another reaction from one of the most influential bloggers (Rank 3 by Blogstreet India) in the Indian blogosphere: "So, I'm supposed to be the 3rd Most Influential Blogger in India according to BlogStreet.com. While it certainly feels good, I suspect this kind of ranking is going to start a small race. Since these rankings are based on how many blogs blogroll you, there's bound to be these "I link you, you link me" symbiotic requests happening in the Indian blogosphere." 10:20:39 AM comment [] trackback [] |
