What happened to Iraqi Radio on shortwave? Tried to get 6175 today as usual around sunset in Cairo 15.30 UTC..but in vain.....also 11787 is not on I think!!!! what's going on??? can anybody hear anything...have they changed the frequencies? hope to hear from you soonest. (Tarek Zeidan, Cairo) Yes, 11787 went off sometime this afternoon. We can't hear 6175 here in The Netherlands anyway, as by the time propagation would be possible Radio France International has already signed on. I did a quick scan for possible Iraqi frequencies, but found none. Psyops discussion on Newstalk 106 in Dublin Well, the first surprise of the evening was a phone message from Jane Murphy at Newstalk 106 in Dublin inviting me to take part in a panel discussion tomorrow (25 March) about psyops (psychological warfare) in the current Iraq conflict. I'm scheduled to be on between 1040 and 1100 UTC, but if you want to listen I suggest you tune in (if you live in the Dublin area) or log on at 1000 UTC as the whole hour is going to be about the media.
