Here is an introduction and brief background for me and for this Weblog:

For the past two years, my company, Big Chief Partners has been leading development of the WebLink system for Philips Semiconductors.  This RFID-centric system includes client software for readers, servers for managing the flow of event information, RFID-enabled commercial solutions and RFID-based application development tools. In 2002 we implemented several trials and we are currently implementing the first commercial deployments of WebLink.

In addition, my company has developed a commanding knowledge of automatic identification technologies and businesses.  As a result, a number of venture investors have asked us to work with them on RFID opportunities on an ongoing basis.  We are also moving rapidly on our own participation in next-generation identification ventures.
