Home again Back from Nellita in one day again, leaving at 8am, stopping at the grocery for 5 minutes before it closed at 9pm. The Siskiyous were beautiful with snow everywhere but the road. Lots of traffic but no real slowdowns, and we avoided whatever it would have been like tomorrow (i.e. the Sunday after Thanksgiving). Making the time pass quickly we read Moveable Feast by Hemingway. Never expected it to be so funny! From the ship's computer: 801 miles, 12 hours 10 minutes driving time, average of 66 mph (does that check?), 29.2 mpg. 11:24:53 PM    comment []  trackback []
