Lately I've been checking my referers page and I have to say, the blogosphere is hotting up. More searches hitting the booklist, and even a couple of emails from the searchers. One today about Taddeus Golas, one last week from a descendent of Alice Berry-Hart looking for leads on her books. Fun. I also hit number one for the first time: someone searched for "________" on AsiaCo, and got this: "
Results: 1 - 10 of about 6,040,000." Would it be worth more if it were Google?
Then there's the part I'm a little less sanguine about: I copied the BloggerCon registrants list into a file and stored it because I enjoyed the conference so much and thought it might jump-start me into a linked community; now I'm seeing every time every time someone searches for him- or herself. Not what they (or I) had in mind. So far haven't heard about it from anyone.
