What the heck is Mambo?

I had never heard of it either until I started looking around for a system that would manage a lot of content and keep it all categorized and linked together for me.  I saw some pretty good CMS tools, but they were VERY expensive.

Then I ran into Mambo.

A CMS forum I was looking through had some posts that talked about Mambo and how powerful it is - and the fact that it's FREE.  I couldn't believe what I was seeing...

I've been working with Mambo on one of my sites for the past few days, and I have to say that it is AWESOME.  You have the ability to create a membership site that requires passwords and logins for your visitors, you can have visitors post articles and links straight into your site.

You can also use Mambo as just a pure content management library by de-activating all the complicated user management tools.

I could write about Mambo for days and still not cover all the amazing stuff it will do for you.
