The New York Public Library has officially opened their digital image gallery -- there are some amazing images in there that have never been seen anywhere else. 

As a business idea, look for public domain images and either package them up into CDs or DVDs and sell them or just put them on a website with some AdSense ads added to the mix to capitalize on the traffic.
