If I'm ever faced with a hot water heater failure at a house, like at my Girl Friend's house. She's getting a tankless hot water heater. She's from Japan originally and probably knows quite well the benefits of the tankless hot water heater. I'm sure in this metropolitan area, there are a few people who have bought into them and would be willing to spend the up front costs of a tankless heater. If it saves money in the long run it is more than worth it, and if it allows people to take showers and wash dishes, it is DEFINITELY worth it. Here's to American adoption of foreign conventions, like tankless hot water heaters and even the metric system. Some day, some day.l
