Intelli cracks open IntelliScanner Wine Collector. Cary, N.C.-based Intelli Innovations Inc. on Tuesday published IntelliScanner Wine Collector, [MacCentral News]
On the surface this appears to be a wickedly cool way of tracking stuff you have tried and stuff you haven't. After about year, I'm starting to find I cannot remember which of the many Beaujolais on the market I like the best. And dammit, I didn't keep the bottle around when I did finally find it. My bad, I realize. But now for the anal retentive wine enthusiast, you can track those puppies like your short and long term investments. Keeping tabs on every bottle of wine you have ever tried. That's so appealing I may have to get me one of these after Christmas is over with. I cannot tell you how many times I wish I had kept better notes on what I've been buying, and what I have genuinely liked.
