A masterful century by captain Sourav Ganguly gave India a first innings lead over Australia in the first cricket Test at the Gabba. Ganguly's 144 - his 11th Test century but his first against Australia - lifted India to 6-362 at the close of the fourth day - a lead of 39 after Australia made 323.
