Dravid hits winning run to sink Aussies - www.smh.com.au

Double Ouch!

Batsman Rahul Dravid fittingly hit the winning runs as India achieved a four-wicket win over Australia in the second Test at Adelaide Oval today.  Chasing 230 in the final innings to win, India made it comfortably, finishing on 6-233, with Dravid finishing unbeaten on 72 after he hit Stuart MacGill to the cover boundary to win the match.  India never looked in serious trouble today, with openers Akash Chopra (20) and Virender Sehwag (47) making a solid start, and Sachin Tendulkar (37) also making a valuable contribution. Australia have handed India a tantalising opportunity to win their first Test on Australian soil in almost 23 years and were last night chastised by coach John Buchanan for their "immature" batting in the second Test. While the tourists will stride jauntily onto the Adelaide Oval this morning, knowing they are only 193 runs from a famous away victory, Australia have not looked so shaky in their own realm for a decade.
