ABC Sport - Cricket - Dravid and Laxman torment Australia

Rahul Dravid is poised to scored the second double century of the match as India reached 7 for 477 at stumps on day three of the second Test against Australia at the the Adelaide Oval. Dravid (199 not out) and VVS Laxman (148) put on a 303-run partnership to put India right back in contention after they had slumped to 4 for 85 on day two. more

Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman combined for a triple-century stand to give India hope of overhauling Australia's massive first innings total on day three of the second cricket Test at Adelaide Oval today. India was 7-477 in its first innings at stumps, trailing Australia's first innings of 556 by 79 runs.  Dravid was unbeaten on 199, closing in on the second double-century of the match after Ricky Ponting made 242 in Australia's first innings.
