Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman combined for a triple-century stand to give India hope of overhauling Australia's massive first innings total on day three of the second cricket Test at Adelaide Oval today. India was 7-477 in its first innings at stumps, trailing Australia's first innings of 556 by 79 runs. Dravid was unbeaten on 199, closing in on the second double-century of the match after Ricky Ponting made 242 in Australia's first innings.
