A little known, but quite interesting browser alternative is: IRider. It is based totally on the Internet Explorer "kernel" but adds powerful browsing and parallel download and caching features to the user interface. Good news: it's IE, so it is compatible with almost all IE related stuff, from Active X to DHTML to whatever. Bad News: it's IE, so it runs only on Windows and for users who don't hate Microsoft. Worth a look. 4:40:46 PM > trackback [] comment [] |
Here's something really cool for you parents of teen-age drivers. Carchip plugs into your cars computer and records speeds and feeds for the next 75 hours of driving. Hmm, what about the trade-off between privacy and safety? (Remember Gorbachev and Reagan? "Trust but verify?") I haven't tried it yet, but it looks quite interesting. 2:51:01 PM > trackback [] comment [] |
